Don’t be surprised that they too are prowling on your profiles.
Make it a practice to keep your social media only social. Never post or comment on your professional life. Also, avoid liking or sharing posts that bad mouth your colleague, seniors or the employer.

So, you should work towards knowing what should be the concerns and suspicions they may have of not approving a candidate.
